Our stay of choice when visiting the Boise area. A bit off the interstate, and it takes a bit of time to stop at Billeting and pick up a key to your 
power box, but worth the effort. Safe, secure, and in a quiet area of the base with some airport noise but nothing bothersome. Only seven concrete back-in sites so reservations are a must. Our 40' motorhome had no trouble fitting onto our site, and hookups were convenient and worked well. Shade trees in the rear of the site with a table, although walking on the rough gravel is a bit difficult. 
Very good OTA TV and good access to TV Satellites. No park WiFi but excellent Verizon cell/data. Convenient to downtown and shopping. The laundry is no longer free, but for the price ($15/night) this is an outstanding value. Gowen Field Famcamp
