We don't often find a solid "10" campground at such a reasonable price, but this park is without doubt one of the best we've seen. On check-in the friendly hosts welcomed us to the area with an extensive handout containing restaurant, shopping, and attraction information and maps, gave us their recommendations, and escorted us the the site. The pull-thru site was absolutely level concrete with an attached large wood patio and table, and overlooked the fishing pond. The free cable featured over 100 channels and the Wi-Fi was solid throughout our stay. Clear view to the DirecTV satellite and our Verizon cell and data were strong. Convenient to the Interstate, yet far enough away to be quiet. Although the new owners are still making improvements, this park is already a cut above the norm, and we'll be stopping here again.  A bargain at $26 with Good Sam discount.  Parker’s Crossing RV Park

7 Points COE Campground, Nashville TN

An amazing value with the Senior Pass. Close to the attractions of Nashville, yet you feel that you're in the middle of the forest. Roads a bit narrow, and as stated backing in some of the sites can be a problem, but we had no problem with our 40' rig. Sites are paved, mostly level, and many are very deep. Ours was tree covered yet surrounded by an open grass area for the tripod satellite. Has large patio areas with table and fire rings, and most sites are well spaced for privacy. Verizon cell and data signal was strong. Note: Our GPS had us take Earhart Road to the park. South New Hope Road is a better choice: is wider and without overhanging trees. A great park, but it stays full so a reservation is a must.  A steal at $10/night with the Golden Access Pass.  7 Points COE Campground

Raccoon Valley Escapees Park, Heiskel TN

Our Rating:  Good – 6

We’re Escapees and enjoy staying at their parks for the friendly hosts and fellow campers, but this park was a disappointment.  Easy access from I-75, friendly check in, and an easy drive on gravel interior roads to the gravel, not too level pull-thru sites.  The sites are uncomfortably close, awnings almost touch slideouts, and there’s a half-hearted attempt at a grass strip, but your area is mostly gravel with an aged picnic table.  Quiet at night, but too many security lights keep the area bright. Cable only for long termers, and Tengo WiFi for $3/day.  Most sites are treeless so a clear shot to the satellite.  Verizon cell and data worked well.  Most long-term visitors keep their sites tidy, but a few are falling apart.  OK for a one night stay, with good access to Knoxville.  $18/night for 50A.  Raccoon Valley Escapees Park.

Parker Crossroads RV Park & Campground, Yuma TN

Marginally good.  Easy access from I-40 via a four-lane highway, and although it's a steep climb into the park, it's paved and not a problem. We had an escort to the site, a long (70') pull-through. Interior roads and sites are gravel, and our site was not very level. There’s a nice lake with free catch and release fishing.  No trees, a crumbling table, and a fire ring at each site. Free cable TV and good free WiFi. Verizon cell and Aircard worked well. Our coach was lit at night by a large, bright security light adjacent to the pull-through sites. The hosts state that the new owners are putting a great deal of work into the park; it's an old KOA and it needs it. Not a bad stay, but not a memorable one, either, especially for $28/night.  .  Parker Crossroads RV Park & Campground
