Valley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill OR

 Stay Date:  June 2021

Our Rating:  GOOD - 9

Oregon state parks consistently provide great stays, and this was no exception. Interior roads and sites are paved, and our back-in site was level and long enough for our motorhome and tow vehicle. "C" loop is very tight for a large RV, but is doable if taken slow - you'll ride up on the curb no matter what you do. Utilities were convenient and worked well. Sites are well spaced with plenty of shade. Only a few OTA TV stations, and rooftop satellites may have difficulty seeing the TV satellites. Verizon cell/data were strong. Although close to I-5, it was relatively quiet. Check-in was a painful due to the ranger booth being closed on the right side and open only on the left. This forced RVs entering and leaving to share a narrow lane with a high curb.  $33/night.  Valley of the Rogue State Park
