Fairchild AFB Famcamp, Spokane WA

Stay Date:  Oct 2017

Our Rating:  GOOD –7

Fairchild1A convenient stop along I-90 and close to shopping and casinos. On entering through the commercial gate, expect to be told to open all bays, doors, hood, trunk, and wait in a separate area while your RV and vehicle are searched. No exceptions, so if this bothers you, go Fairchild2somewhere else. A friendly and helpful host greeted us, but the only thing attractive about the Famcamp itself is the price. Gravel interior and sites that are mostly level and just long enough for our motor home and tow, closely spaced and with a sewer hookup in Fairchild3the far rear of the site. WiFi was slow, but it was windy during our stay, and Verizon Cell/Data was good. Lots of OTA TV and no few obstructions to the TV satellites. Train noise can be very loud at night, something that seems to be worse than in past visits. Overall a good value at $20/night due to the location, but not a destination park.  Fairchild AFB Famcamp
