Robbins Nest RV Park, Bandon OR
Stay Date: Jan 2017
Our Rating: GOOD -10
As long-time full timers, we're always looking for a perfect park, and this is as close as it gets. It starts with the owners; friendly, helpful, and concerned with the quality of your stay. The location is perfect; three miles from the center of the picturesque town of Bandon and convenient to the beach.
At night, you can hear the surf pounding in the distance. The sites are long, level pull-thrus with table, and the hookups are conveniently located. The park is along Highway 101, but the is fenced for privacy and noise reduction. The community room is furnished with TV, washer/dryer, game table, lending library and lots of local information.
For once, we had an entire stay with strong, consistent WiFi, along with good Verizon cell and data. The park furnishes the equipment free for digital HD cable with multiple channels, and access to TV satellites is easy. Not a resort, just a great place to stay with great owners who take an interest. We'll be back. A bargain at the winter montly rate of $385 (includes Electric) Robbins Nest RV Park

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield CA
Stay Date: Nov 2016
Our Rating: Good – 9
Professional staff at check in, even gave us hints on which oranges to pick. This time of year the trees were full of fruit, and we were told to
pick as much as we wanted. Sites are long level gravel pull-thrus with trees and table. Extensive cable, good OTA, and no obstructions to satellites.
Very good WiFi and good Verizon cell/data. East of the urban area with easy access and quiet and dark at night. A very nice stay, we'll visit again. Pricy but worth the $43/night. Orange Grove RV Park
Shady Grove RV Park, Alamogordo NM
Stay Date: Oct 2016
Our Rating: GOOD – 8
Alamogordo doesn’t offer much in the way of quality RV Parks, but this is a nice park at a very reasonable price. We spent a month here; the long, level pull-thrus had a nice-sized tree for shade, a gravel patio, and a table.
Acceptable cable TV, some OTA channels, and no obstructions to TV satellites. The WiFi worked well, and we had good Verizon cell/data. Not in the best neighborhood, but with easy access to the highway with little road noise.
Close to Alamogordo’s shopping with easy access to Tularosa, Cloudcroft, and Ruidoso. Friendly manager and owner. Monthly rate of $300 included electric. Shady Grove RV Park

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari NM
Stay Date: Oct 2016
Our Rating: Good – 7
Other reviewers haven’t been as kind, but for us the park consistently provides a good overnight stay at a reasonable price. Much depends on the site you’re assigned, so try and get a pull-thru under the trees. Friendly check-in and escort to our site, a long, level gravel pull-thru with shade. Convenient hookups, quiet location, and walking distance to a good restaurant.
Extensive analog cable TV, and most sites have a clear view of satellites. Good Verizon cell/data, and the park WiFi worked well. Can be a bit dusty as RVs arrive/depart, but overall well worth the price. Reasonable at $25/night. Cactus RV Park
