Priddy Meadow RV Park, Wimberley, TX

Stay Date:  Mar 2014
Our Rating:  GOOD – 8
Priddy Meadow1We spent almost six months here while Brenda recuperated from shoulder surgery, and couldn’t have found a better place for a long term stay.  The location was perfect – just outside  charming Wimberley with its good assortment of restaurants and shopping, and yet just 12 miles to San Marcos and our medical Priddy Meadow3facilities.  We stumbled on this park by accident, a short distance off of Rt 12 on CR1492.  The park only has 15 sites, arranged in a “U” shape around a 5-acre meadow, with trees, grass, and a deer feeder.  The sites Priddy Meadow4are all back-in up against the tree line, gravel with a slope up to the trees, with gravel and grass.  Hookups are convenient and include free cable with a full channel HD lineup.  Verizon cell and 4G worked well, and there were no obstructions to the rooftop satellite.  There are no amenities at this park, no restrooms, pool, playground etc., and there are a few long term residents.  The owner is a delightful lady who has a list of reasonable rules, and considers it her mission to make your stay enjoyable.  She and her parents live on site and check with guests frequently.  The meadow is filled with deer each morning and evening, and there are plenty of birds in the area.  Quiet, secure, and convenient – a great place to stay in the Hill Country.  Monthly rate of $335 plus electric.  Priddy Meadow RV Park
