This is a completely average RV park located on the back side of Wright-Patterson AFB.
The road to the check in office is gravel, but after that all of the park roads and sites are paved. Both pull-thru and back-in sites are available, and all are fairly large and have built in, often rickety tables and a grassy area. No cable TV or WiFi, but all sites have a clear shot at the satellite and the Verizon cell and Aircard worked well. A quiet area except for aircraft operations, but since they fly C-5s and they’re usually broke it isn’t too bad. The Office lady is well meaning but seems confused. Have patience as she tries to figure out where your reservation is. Perhaps that accounts for the many sites with cones indicating they’re reserved being empty for weeks. Be prepared for a long drive (5 miles) to an open gate after 6:00 at night and most weekends. In spite of all this, it’s the best place in the area, and the price of $23/night is reasonable.
