Stay Date: April 2013
Our Rating: Good – 7
We'd like to rate this park higher; the owners are the friendliest, most accommodating people we've encountered and the rate is very reasonable. Alas, the train noise and cramped sites are an annoyance, and this park is best served for an overnight only. The free Wi-Fi worked well, and Verizon cell and data were strong. There's no cable TV and trees could be a problem for the satellite, so ask for a site with a clear view when checking in. The sites share central hookups and are close together. Road noise is noticeable, but not loud enough to disturb our sleep as did the trains. Easy access to I-90 and the downtown area. Reasonable at $29/night. Sunrise Campground
After nine years of living on the road, we've decided to share our opinion on the many parks and resorts we've stayed at - hopefully to help you decide where to stay and avoid our mistakes!

Jim & Mary’s RV Park, Missoula MT
Stay Date: April 2013
Our Rating: Good – 8
We're willing to give the park a good rating for appearance since we've visited in the summer and it's beautiful. In this time of year, it's a bit bleak, and there isn't much maintenance going on. As a result of the sparse foliage, the train noise in "A" row, where the pull-thru sites are located, is significant enough to affect your sleep. Hopefully they'll clean the permanents up in the summer also, since the piles of belonging is becoming unsightly. But there are so many good aspects of this park; friendly hosts, nice lounge and laundry, free Wi-Fi that worked well, and free limited cable TV. Verizon cell and data were strong, and because of the leafless trees, we were able to find the satellite - something not to be expected during the summer. Not as convenient to Missoula as the KOA, but a bit less expensive. Easy access to the Interstate, and don't miss the Wheat Montana bakery in the corner truck stop. A nice stay, just a little far from town. $38/night. Jim & Mary’s RV Park
