Stay Date: October 2008
Our Rating: GOOD – 7
We’ve stayed here twice, but won’t return except for perhaps an overnight. It’s a nice place; paved roads, level concrete sites, free cable TV and strong WiFi. The sites are adequate in size with small trees and some grass. Not a destination park, there’s no pool and the clubhouse is kept locked. Friendly owner is a bit of a character, but will try and make your stay pleasant. The problem is noise – the park is right on I-35 and the noise is constant; but worse is the daytime noise from the cement plant next door. The cranes with their loud beeping alarms will drive you crazy. Too bad, otherwise it’s a great place, although the price has risen to $32/day. Canyon Trail RV Resort
